Swooshed again have been asked to help technical produce the BalletBoyz Young Men show.
BalletBoyz gripped audiences with Young Men at its sold-out world premiere at Sadler’s Wells in January. It now makes a triumphant return for six nights only.
Performed by theTALENT – the incredible company of ten young male and two female dancers – Young Men is a moving portrayal of love, loss, friendship and survival marking the World War One centenary. Drawing inspiration from images of conflict through the ages, this is a striking blend of dance, theatre, live music and film from the ever-inventive BalletBoyz.
Choreographed by rising star Ivan Perez (Nederlands Dans Theater I & II and National Ballet of Cuba), featuring an original score from Keaton Henson (Dear… and Birthdays) played live on stage by 14 musicians, don’t miss your second chance to catch this poignant piece of dance theatre.
“Swooshed have worked with the BalletBoyz for several years helping with various theatre and film projects” says Swooshed Director Mike Lindsay. “Its always a challenge technically due to artistic and time demand, but as always the show must go on”
Swooshed coordinate all technical aspects of the show and run the show on the live performances.
